A Revolution in Revelation

Humble Hearts To the Rescue

“…I tell you, there will be more joy in Heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.”

 Luke 15: 7 (ESV)

“I was lost but now I am found.” God’s grace is truly miraculous. It is for the lost of every generation that grace abounds.  It’s all about gathering the lost.  Each new name written into the Book of Life shakes the universe with jubilation because the undisputed mission of Christ Jesus is to recover the lost one-by-one.

We can all become a worthy expression of God’s righteous purpose.  We each have unique gifting and abilities to which we can assert ourselves in a unified effort to help rescue those lost in this corrupt deceitful world. What a joy! We are the body of Jesus Christ, his righteous resource to reach out and touch the lost with the Good News. For our reach steadily grows as we add more vital members to his body.  He blesses our strides as we submit to him with humble hearts, becoming willingly pliable in his hands to function faithfully by the empowerment derived from his righteous kingdom.

For it is only through the humility expressed by a contrite heart recognizing and responding to the heart of God that souls are saved to become permanent citizens of his everlasting kingdom.

It could easily be said that other than God’s perfect love, the deep humility, heartfelt gratefulness, and hope expressed by so many have helped in the rescue of more lost people than any other Godly attribute.

Dear Lord, into a gracious and humble heart, give us a clear and deep sense of purpose in order to better apply our God-given gifts in bringing lost souls into the Kingdom of Heaven.  Amen.
